“Ararat” diamond-decked medal

The Tekeyan Cultural Union of Armenia has been awarding the diamond-decked medal “Ararat” since the 1990s.

The gold medal is granted to those national activists who have contributed considerably to developing education, science, and culture. In recent years the medal has been awarded to distinguished Armenian people of art and foreign friends of the Armenian people.
